LDCRF’s “Makin’ Me Smile” 2010 Calendar Contest
Terms and Conditions

  • All pet/s entered into the contest must have been adopted from Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation between January 1, 2001 and September 1, 2009. Pets adopted from other rescue organizations are not eligible for participation in the contest.
  • Pets who won a featured spot in the 2009 calendar are ineligible for the 2010 calendar. However, 2009 entrants whose pets were not selected for the 2009 calendar are encouraged to enter the 2010 calendar contest, and are eligible to win.
  • All pets must still be living at the time in which the application is submitted. Deceased pets are not eligible for entry in the contest.
  • All pets must still be in the possession of the original adopter. Pets who have been given to other family members or friends are not eligible for participation in the contest.
  • All adopters must be in good standing with LDCRF and in full accordance with the adoption contract.
  • Each pet may only be entered into the contest once. Additional entries will be voided.
  • If you have adopted multiple pets from LDCRF, you must submit a separate entry form for each animal. Multiple pets may not be included on the same entry. Multiple pets may be included in the same photo.
  • Employees and board members of LDCRF and their immediate families are not eligible for participation in this contest.
  • The “Makin’ Me Smile” 2010 Calendar Contest is scheduled to begin on June 8, 2009, and to end on September 1, 2009. Entrants will compete to win a spot in the organization’s 2010 calendar. Each winner will have one month dedicated to the winning pet, including a photo and short description. All entries must be received by September 1, 2009, to be considered.
  • Contestants will complete the “Makin’ Me Smile” 2010 Calendar Contest application and submit it to LDCRF along with a photo of the pet. Only one photo per pet may be submitted. The contest entry fee is a $15 donation to LDCRF. Cash, check, or online credit card payment (via PayPal) will be accepted.
  • Submission of an entry form grants LDCRF the right to publish, use, adapt, edit, and/or modify such photos in any way, in any and all media, without limitation and without consideration or compensation to the entrant.
  • Photos submitted will not be returned. Submissions should not include any type of video or audio. Submissions may be placed online at www.lostdogrescue.org, or by mailing in the application and fee to:

  • Entries will be evaluated on various factors, including originality and humor. Winners will be selected by a panel of volunteer judges, and winning entries will be notified by September 30, 2009.
  • Proceeds from the calendar contest and sale of calendars will benefit Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation.
  • Photos submitted with applications will not be printed inside the calendar. Winners will take place in a pet photo shoot, from which the photographer will select the photograph for the calendar.
  • All proceeds from the calendar contest and sale of calendars will benefit Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation. The Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable corporation (Tax ID 31-1789600). Contributions are tax-deductible.
