Yes Learn MoreParker is a 60-pound hound who thinks he’s a lap dog. He is so loving and affectionate, giving you kisses every chance he gets. He also loves squeaky toys and loves to romp, run and wrestle with his dog buddies. He’s currently living in a foster home with another dog and they get along great! They share toys and love going on walks together. Parker is a perfect gentleman on the leash and is not leash reactive. Every now and then a good scent or fun looking buddy requires a slight extra tug but he is immediately responsive and will continue on his way. Parker is both house and crate trained and has had zero accidents in the house since moving into his foster home. He loves his crate and when he needs some quiet time away from others he’ll go lay on his bed inside it. Buses and big trucks do scare him but that is just because they are so much bigger than he is.
Parker would love a family with dog-savvy teens to take him on walks and play ball in the backyard. He definitely has a lot of energy, but that’s just because he loves life! He loves going outside, whether it is walking, running, or hiking he is just happy to be with his people. Contact LDCRF for more information about Parker!
